Whats the status on support for Windows 8.1?
It seems that running the preview I cannot connect with Miracast alone through my Advanced-N 6235 is supposedly supported hardware. Immediately after connection the session drops.
If I install WiDi I can establish stable (though unreliable) connections however I cannot run WiDi software as all versions I've attempted seem to have some type of software incompatibility issue.
I notice that 8.1 is running a much newer Intel video driver than the DownloadCenter website is aware of, which I cannot downgrade to my OEM driver because...Windows 8.1.
Today I upgraded PTV3000 firmware to 2.4.3 but it's too early to tell how much that will improve things.
I went to download WiDi 4.0.18.0 after the firmware update to test it's newer drivers and found that only WiDi 4.2.19 is currently available. Everything in DownloadCenter still references 4.0.18.0 as the current version but when you click it you are take to version 4.2.19.0 BTW. WTF isn't everything updated properly? Also why doesn't 4.2.19.0 install and run with Windows 8.1?
